tip

In order for color adjustments for SLOW files to persist after re-opening, the file must be re-saved.

caution

Color adjustments are applied permanently to pixel data when images are saved to file formats other than .SLOW.

White Balance

White balance adjusts the color temperature of an image to ensure that white objects appear neutral under different lighting conditions. It compensates for color casts caused by various light sources, such as daylight, tungsten, or fluorescent lighting, to maintain accurate and natural colors.

info

White balance is applied before interpolation and image adjustments

Adjustments

Each color channel Red, Green, & Blue can be manually adjusted in the range of 0.10 → 10.00. These are multiplicative factors that apply gain to only the relative color channel.
