C Mount

Mounting

1. Remove the camera body cap by turning counterclockwise.
2. Remove the rear lens cap by turning counterclockwise.
3. Thread the lens into the mount by turning it clockwise until stop is reached.

caution

Always support large / heavy lenses independently from the camera. Follow the lens manufacturers’ guidelines.

note

Optionally close the shutter before removing the body cap or lens to protect the sensor.

Unmounting

1. Turn lens counterclockwise until it releases.
2. Replace the rear lens cap by turning clockwise.
3. Replace the camera body cap by turning clockwise.

C Lenses

Coverage

~16mm/0.63" diameter image circle (standard under 1" C-mount). Vignetting may be present above certain resolutions when using certain lens formats.

warning

Internal filters cannot be used if installing a C-mount lens.
