Instructions

1. Connect the ethernet cable to the camera's ethernet connector.

2. Connect the included power supply or a properly rated power source to either the primary or backup power input.

3. Wait approimately 2 to 2.5 minutes for the camera to boot.

   warning

   If the ethernet cable is plugged in after the camera boots, the SLOW software may not detect the camera and it will need to be rebooted.

   After approximately 2m 15s, the internal mechanical shutter will audibly cycle for the second time. This indicates the camera has finished booting.

   For contrast, the first cycling of the shutter is part of the sensor initialization and occurs towards the beginning of the boot sequence.

   warning

   Boot time might be slightly longer immediately following a firmware update.
